Dr. Lori Gruskin is a Florida native who grew up in Sunrise, Florida. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Science from Florida State University. She received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dentistry in Bradenton, Florida. During her academic years, she held multiple leadership positions and volunteered within the dental community.
Dr. Gruskin is a member of multiple dental associations, such as the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry just to name a few.
With her experience excelling in a variety of practice styles, Dr. Gruskin exemplifies a broad clinical set. She throughly enjoys all dental procedures with an emphasis on cosmetic and restorative dentistry, along with oral surgery. Her goal is to make her patients more confident with their smiles.
When Dr. Gruskin isn’t in the office, you can find her at Orange Theory, reading, at the beach, the mall, or with her Shih Tzu puppy, Daisy, and her boyfriend Seth, who is also a dentist.
Amber is a Volusia County Florida native. She started her career in dentistry 15 years ago as a receptionist and moved into dental assisting, where she received her expanded functions certification from University of Florida “Go Gators”. Amber started with Universal Smiles Dentistry as a scheduling coordinator and worked her way up to the general manager. Amber has completed the Power Program with MGE management experts to improve her ability to manage a great company that helps patients. Amber loves her job and pride herself in a smoothly running productive company that strives to help people maintain great oral health and beautiful smiles.
When not at the office, Amber loves the beach, boating, motorcycles, football, and especially spending time with her three children and three grandbabies.
Heather is a Deland resident of 27 years. She began her career in dentistry after graduating from Daytona State College with honors for Dental Assisting with Expanded Functions. She has loved assisting and bonding with her patients over the years and building long lasting relationships with her patients. She has been working as an Office Manager for the past twelve years. Providing excellent patient care with proper education from a positive team makes for personable dental experience. Heather takes huge pride in her work and loves the transformations of a new healthy smile that will change a patient's life.
Outside the office Heather enjoys spending time with her family and her fur babies. Florida summers are made for the beach and enjoying the sunshine.
Myrna has been a registered hygienist for 23 years now. She graduated from Detroit Michigan in 2000. She moved to Florida in 2001 and loves it here. She has been married for over 30 years and has 3 kids, 3 step children, and 7 grandkids. She chooses to be a dental hygienist because she loves to educate the patients on oral hygiene and health and watch the change in their confidence and overall health. She is happy to be a part of Universal Smiles Dentistry to continue with their purpose and goal to provide healthy smiles in a comfortable environment for all.
